For seven years I ran the data, tools and automation behind a growing property management company, along with its brand, website, email and reviews.
I start by listening and understanding the problem, then look closely at how the work happens today. From there I improve and optimize, and I try to spot what the team needs before anyone has to ask.
Seven years of running the systems and the marketing for a property management company that more than doubled in size.
Ten projects across systems and marketing, from the core database every tool builds on to the emails people actually open. Each one covers the problem, the constraints, the decisions I made and what happened.

I spend time up front understanding the whole picture and scoping things out properly, so that what I build fits how the work actually happens. Then I take it all the way through to building it and keeping it running.
My experienceI start by taking inventory of the current process and the data behind it. It helps me paint a picture of where things actually are, and that's usually where the surprises are.
From there I pin down what's broken, what's missing and what's harder than it needs to be, and check it with the people doing the work.
Databases, automations and internal apps, sized to the team. I build in small steps, gather feedback as I go, and keep improving it once people are using it.
I document the handover so it's clear and easy to adopt, train the people using it, and make sure they understand the reason behind the system, not just the steps.
I'm looking for my next operations or systems role.
